**Competition Terms and Conditions**

 

**1. Eligibility:**

1.1 The competition is open to all individuals who meet the specified criteria mentioned in the competition announcement.

1.2 Entrants must be of legal age to participate.

1.3 Employees, affiliates, partners, and immediate family members of the organizing company are not eligible to enter the competition.

 

**2. How to Enter:**

2.1 To enter the competition, participants must follow the instructions provided in the competition announcement.

2.2 Entries must be submitted through the designated method, as specified in the competition announcement.

2.3 Each entrant is allowed only one entry. Multiple entries from the same participant may result in disqualification.

 

**3. Competition Period:**

3.1 The competition begins on the start date mentioned in the competition announcement.

3.2 The competition closes on the end date mentioned in the competition announcement.

3.3 Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

 

**4. Prize:**

4.1 The prize(s) will be detailed in the competition announcement.

4.2 Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged or redeemed for cash or any other alternatives.

4.3 If, due to unforeseen circumstances, the announced prize is not available, the organizing company reserves the right to provide an alternative of similar value.

 

**5. Winner Selection:**

5.1 The winner(s) will be selected based on specific criteria outlined in the competition announcement.

5.2 The decision of the organizing company in selecting the winner(s) is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection process.

 

**6. Winner Notification:**

6.1 The winner(s) will be notified via the contact information provided during entry within a reasonable time after the competition closes.

6.2 If the winner(s) do not respond to the notification within the specified time frame, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected.

 

**7. Publicity:**

7.1 By participating in the competition, entrants agree to allow the organizing company to use their name, and entry for marketing & public relations purposes and further release The Cannabis Expo Pty Ltd, or others for whom they are acting, from any claims for remuneration from the use of the media and further, associated with any form of damage, foreseen or unforeseen, associated with the proper commercial or artistic use of these images. 7.2 By participating in the competition entrants hereby waive any right that they may have to inspect and approve the finished product or copy that may be used in connection with an image that the Photographer or Cameraman has taken, or the use to which it may be applied. 

 

**8. Data Protection:**

8.1 Any personal information provided by entrants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

 

**9. Disqualification:**

9.1 The organizing company reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be in breach of these terms and conditions or engaged in any unlawful or unethical behaviour.

9.2 The organizing company may disqualify an entry if it is deemed offensive, inappropriate, or infringing upon the rights of others.

 

**10. Changes to the Competition:**

10.1 The organizing company reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances or for any other reason.

10.2 Any changes to the competition will be updated on the competition's official platform.

 

**11. Governing Law:**

11.1 The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, and any disputes arising under or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

 

By participating in this competition, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to and accept these terms and conditions.
